What Parents Should Know Before Your
Party
Here’s everything you need to know before the big day so your party runs smoothly and you get to ENJOY the party instead of running it.
Our team arrives approximately 1 hour early to unload, & set up. We bring the equipment, the games, the music & all the energy!
Kids enjoy 90 minutes of instructor-led games, obstacle challenges, and age-appropriate movement fun.
When the entertainment ends, our coaches clean up while the birthday crew can wind down, eat, and enjoy cake.
🗓️ Booking & Planning
- Non-Refundable Deposit: All bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your date and time.
- Booking Confirmation: After submitting your booking form, our team will confirm availability and answer questions. A booking is not confirmed until the deposit is paid.
- Weather & Rescheduling: If it rains, we will reschedule your event for the earliest available date.
- Is My Space Big Enough? Feel free to send us a picture when you submit the form and our team can confirm. Space requirements depend on your headcount and the ages of the children. We can work with most spaces, and our coaching team are masters at creating obstacle courses to fit smaller yards.
📍 Location & Setup
- Parks & Locations: It is the client’s responsibility to reserve the park or event space and obtain approval for a third-party vendor.
- Documentation: Bounce is permitted to work at most parks and event spaces in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Our team can provide a COI endorsed with the park or event space, business license, workers comp, and other required documentation if needed.
- Licensed & Insured: We are fully licensed, insured, and comply with the City of Los Angeles’ park rules and regulations.
- Parking & Access: Coaches need a parking space for the van or vans and a clear walkway to unload equipment. Please notify us of any stairs, narrow paths, or obstacles that may increase setup time and incur an additional setup fee.
🛟 Coaches & Safety
- Coach Requirements: Our coach-to-child rule is there for safety and liability reasons, so please ensure you book the correct number of coaches for your party.
- Changing Headcount: Worried you may need an additional coach as RSVPs come in? Just let our party team know and we can arrange it for you. We understand you may not know the final headcount far in advance, so we can adjust as you get closer to your party date.
- Supervision: A parent, guardian, or responsible host must remain present during the party.
⏰ Timing
- Arrival & Setup: The team arrives approximately 1 hour prior to the start time to unload vans and set up for the party.
- Entertainment Time: Entertainment is 90 minutes.
- Cleanup: Coaches then take around 45 minutes to 1 hour to load the vans and clean up. This is the perfect time for tired kiddos to eat and enjoy birthday cake.
Quick Party Checklist
- Complete waivers for all participating children before the party.
- Make sure there is a safe and open activity space ready for games.
- Have children wear comfortable clothes and shoes for movement.
- Please let us know if guest numbers change as you get closer to the party date.
- Confirm parking and access details ahead of time for smooth setup.
